Your data is yours. Here I explain in plain language what information I collect, what I use it for and how you can ask me to correct or delete it.

1. Data controller
Luis Juárez, an independent developer, is responsible for the personal data collected through luisjuarez.dev. You can reach me through the .
2. Data I collect

The chat does not store your IP address: it turns it into an encrypted, irreversible identifier used only to count how many messages are sent per day and prevent abuse. As with any website, the hosting server may temporarily record visitors' IP addresses in its technical logs.
I don't ask for sensitive data. Please don't share passwords, bank details, ID documents or health information in the chat.
3. What I use it for
- Understanding your needs and preparing a work proposal.
- Contacting you to follow up on your request.
- Reviewing conversations to improve the assistant's answers.
- Protecting the site against spam and abuse.
I don't use your data to send you advertising, I don't sell it and I don't share it for commercial purposes.
4. AI assistant
The chat on this site is an automated assistant, not a person. Your messages are sent to Google's Gemini models through OpenRouter, a service that provides access to these models, to generate the replies.
I use a paid service configured to send conversations only to providers that neither store them nor use them to train their models. Even so, I recommend not writing passwords or sensitive personal data in the chat. If you'd rather your message didn't go through AI, use the or WhatsApp.
When the assistant identifies your needs and contact details, it creates a summary that reaches me by email (at Gmail and at my @luisjuarez.dev address) so I can follow up personally.
The assistant's answers are for guidance only: they may contain errors and are not a quote or a commitment. Any formal proposal is sent by me in writing.
5. Who it is shared with
To run the site I use providers that process data on my behalf. Some may process it outside your country:

I would only hand over your data to an authority when required by law or a court order.
7. Retention and security
I keep conversations and contact details while there is a business relationship or until you ask me to delete them. Data is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) and stored on a server with restricted access.
8. Your rights
You can request at any time:
- Access: find out what data I hold about you.
- Correction: fix inaccurate data.
- Deletion: erase your data and conversations.
- Objection: ask me to stop using your data for a given purpose.
Send your request through the , stating the contact method you used. I'll reply promptly and within the time limits set by applicable law.
9. Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, I'll publish the new version on this page with its update date. The site is not directed at minors.
